The "exited with zero status
)
The "exited with zero status but no 'finished' file" is a known bug in BOINC that we still couldn't track down. It tends to show up on Multi-CPU (or HT) systems, and if you look into stderr.txt in the slots directory you will probably find a message saying "no heartbeat from core client". However the Result, as you see, is properly restarted by the client and will eventually finish, this bug hasn't an effect on the outcome. As long as everything else is working well, you can safely ignore this error message.

Is there anything I can do to help you track it down?

Magnus - you are lucky to be the one who can track the bug down, i hope E@H team will contract you and send you a bunch of E@H test versions to find out where the problem lies in

I haven't noticed the exited with zero status message so much but lately i have started to notice this message in the stderr.txt as shown in BOINClogX

If you are an experienced programmer, you may write to the boinc_dev mailing list. It's not a E@H problem, but a problem in the boinc lib that E@H uses. Other projects may not get it because the are staisfied with and thus using older versions of the boinc lib. We are currently too busy with E@H stuff to continue debugging BOINC and for now leave it to the BOINC developers (which also seem to have their hands moe than full), as the current workaround (treat this as recoverable and let the client restart the app) doesn't cause severe problems for us. If you want to help, boinc_dev would be the right address.
