The way E@H sends out work is a little different than most projects.
Users are sent a large input file, then for a time sent 'templates' containing the parameters on what tests to run on that input file.
The big plus to this system is that you don't need to download the large file very often, and WUs are downloaded instantly with a normal scheduler reply.
The drawback is that in order to send WUs to multiple hosts, the scheduler can only send work to hosts that have the same input file as you. So it may take a while for a compatible host to contact the scheduler in order to receive the WU you are waiting on.

not sure how this rea;y helps but ok
any way will this be like this for good with me waiting 5 or more days for credit?

I usually get credit within a couple of days. You showed up on the front end of the delivery system.... on average, next time you will be on the backend with two guys waiting for you to report
it all averages out.... (UNTIL ... someone times out and the job has to be resent to a fourth and fifth even sixth computer...this happened to me once.... I followed the link to his computer and saw he was issued a dozen WU's in a very shory time frame... all/most of them timed out... he has since solved whatever problem he had but the WU's during the problem all had to wait for reissue and report)
BOTTOM LINE: don't be discouraged. give the project at least a month(I suggest two) by which time the confirmed reports shoulg be rolling in on a consistant basis

No, I'm sure your new box is running E@H the same as your others. It's just that you've been lucky with your input files. If you get paired with slow machines that don't contact the scheduler very often, you can wait for a week or more until your WU gets sent to someone else.

is this normal?
)
I've got same issue with a recent computer added but WU's were sent 2 days later to other computers as well; so this problem will solve.
