Hi,
I have received this message a number of times.

2011-03-05 10:54:57 Einstein@Home Message from server: Your computer has no NVIDIA GPU
I know that I don´t have a NVIDIA card and my set up is, that I don´t request work with the GPU.
Maybe there is no work for Einstein to process. I don´t clearly recon that.

NO work to fetch

The key point is that your client only asked for GPU work this time. If it asks for CPU work (or for both types), you should get some.
And your host actually has 11 task downloaded, the last one on 1 Mar 2011 12:33:22 UTC. You can look up that date in your Messages tab (or in stdoutdae.txt).

Presumably you are quoting the log from your host 3942036, which does have a GPU in it: an ATI Radeon HD 4350/4550.
BOINC could make use of the ATI GPU, but Einstein can't (yet). So BOINC asks for work, and Einstein replies that none is available.
In due course, your computer will request new tasks for CPU, and find there is plenty available. If you ever have doubts on that score, check the server status page.
RE: Hi, I have received

Basically the message means you're asked for work for your ATI GPU, but Einstein doesn't have an app for ATI GPU's so you get no work,
and it helpfully tells you that you could have got work if you had a Nvidia GPU, it could be worded better,
note: you can only turn off Nvidia GPU work fetches in the preferences, and not ATI work fetches, (there's no app for ATI's so the preference doesn't appear)
the ATI work fetches will decrease in time to once a day,

According to what you say,

According to what you say, just wait and I will get some work. I thought when I said I don´t use GPU then I shouldn´t ask for it. That´s what I have in my preference for Einstein. OK I wait and see.
Thanks for your reply.

There is no option here at
)
There is no option here at Einstein to disable work requests for an ATI GPU. The Einstein project preferences only have the option to enable/disable the use of the CPU and the Nvidia GPU.
The option to enable/disable the ATI GPU isn't activated as no application for an ATI GPU is available at this project.

Which is a statement of literal truth, but logical stupidity.

It's the same with this message, it should be saying: 'There's no application available for your ATI GPU' first, then maybe saying there's work available for Nvidia GPU's,
and not replying that you haven't got a Nvidia GPU, what's that got to do with an ATI work request? why confuse people with confusing messages?

Without them, the forums will become incredibly dull. ;-)
