Arecibo has been shut down,

Arecibo has been shut down, and may never work again.  You had better select the other projects.

And for Nvidia or AMD GPUs

And for Nvidia or AMD GPUs that would be: "Gamma-ray pulsar binary search #1 (GPU)" in the Project preferences.

OMG! I have my preferences

OMG!

I have my preferences set to home!

All it required from me is to click ... save... and WUs started to upload!

I should have done this simple click ... months back!

Hi, I don't understand what

Hi,

I don't understand what you did. I, too, have all the projects selected, and I, too, haven't gotten any new work for the past 2 to 3 days, at least.

Thanks.

What does Boinc Event Log show if you hit update for Einstein?

In the last contact log on the server this message points out the problem:

2018-12-14 21:48:16.0664 [version] NVidia device (or driver) doesn't support OpenCL

So you need to update your GPU driver, download the latest from Nvidia and you should be back to business.

Well, it looks like you were

Well, it looks like you were right, even though I had nothing to that effect in my local BOINC event log. I upgraded my NVIDIA driver, rebooted, made an update request to einstein@home, and got 43 work units!

Thanks for the info, though I don't understand how you found out that information. It looks like you were looking in that "last contact log" using something that ID'ed me or my machine. How did you know how to do that? It looks useful!

Thanks very much for your help.

I clicked on your username

I clicked on your username next to your post (you can try by clicking on mine), then on "Show computers" on the right and lastly on the time and date in the "Last contact" column.
The way to get to the log for your own computers are clicking on Account the the navigation bar up top on the page, then on the name of the computer down to the left (or the "More" link under that list) and again on the date and time for the last contact.

The problem with the driver should have shown in the startup messages in the Event log, probably with the lack of a message about detecting the graphics card.
This sort of thing tends to happen when Windows updates the graphics driver, it installs a driver that doesn't have all the functionality that the driver from the manufacturer has.
