I have 3 WU's in my BOINC Manager now:
1 Ready to report, 1 Running and 1 Ready to Run
The issue is, that "ready to report" unit is not disappearing as usual, even if using manual Update. This strange behavior began with 4.38 BOINC.
Here is log, i am unable to see any warning/errors here:

Manual updating is apparently broken in 4.38. There has been discussion about this over at S@H. BOINC will automatically report the results when it is good and ready. You are best to rely on automatic reporting anyway, IMHO :).

It was fixed, but 4.40 is out now.
