Hi Folks,Yup no GPU work is

Hi Folks,

Yup no GPU work is available, I've pm'd  Christian about it but I doubt I'll get a response before working time, which should be about 0900 hrs Monday 12th. Also I see on E@H stats page the work creation has been disabled so that's  probably why theres no BRP4G tasks for download.

I've not seen any notification that BRP4G has finished, so maybe its just an oversight leaving it disabled.

Cliff,

Been there, Done that, Still no damm T Shirt.

In this

In this post... https://einsteinathome.org/content/wu-sent-20-clients-just-curious#comment-152585 ... Christian Beer said they get Arecibo data in batches only. Apparently that is connected also with Arecibo GPU work and all those WUs have been delivered, until they get next data batch. It seems also FGRPB1G WUs for Nvidia have run out now, but there's work for ATI/AMD.

Yes, that's it for now. No

Yes, that's it for now. No BRP4G beams anymore. We don't know when the next batch of beams will arrive from Arecibo but we are working on getting the FGRPB1G application finished and out of Beta this week so your GPUs can work for EaH again.

So BRP4 stat on this page not

So BRP4 stat on this page not correct / very outdated?

http://einstein6.aei.uni-hannover.de/EinsteinAtHome/download/BRP-progress/

Because it show
Beams to analyze 126673
Beams copied to orion 125366
Beams >10% processed 104096
Beams >50% processed 104067
Beams >90% processed 104032
Beams 100% processed 103553

Like ~ 20 000 beams already received, but not processed yet.

P.S.
For some reason i also can not get any GW work too. while server status page says about 10 000 WUs ready to send

Are you planning to extend the FGRPB1G development to include Windows and/or intel_gpu? Without those additions (not on the applications page yet), the number of 'recognised' BOINC projects with intel_gpu applications just dropped from three to two, until the next batch of Arecibo or Parkes disks arrive.

I looked at the recent logs of all your hosts and all but one didn't request any CPU work so they didn't get any but the message says "No work available" which is misleading in that case (I'm not sure where this comes from). The one that requested CPU work got 6 O1MD1G tasks. So I think your hosts are fine with CPU work for now.

...Hm, please Staff, quick

...Hm,

please Staff, quick and dirty, what we'll have to do, to get further WU's for our Nvidia Systems?

I've enabled all GPU and Test Apps as well in the Prefs and getting no WU's or a new App on any Host.

ATM I will run dry in about two days. :-|

Just for extra clarity. With that do you mean only BRP for AMD and NVIDIA GPUs and BRP for ARMs, Androids and Intel GPU continues as before?

There are two separate science runs.  BRP4G uses bundled tasks for the much faster discrete GPUs.  BRP4 uses 'singles' for slower 'mobile' devices.  Supply for the former runs out regularly whilst awaiting new data.  An attempt is made to provide a continuous supply for the latter.

Cheers,
Gary.
