Just wondering, is Einstein running under the BOINC centralized NewCredit system these days?

Nope, my hosts don't have Application details page that comes with the later Boinc Server software,

OK -- I did -- from what I've

OK -- I did -- from what I've read, subsequent iterations of the server component code are making it *increasingly difficult* to shut off NewCredit. Absent significant push back from projects (and perhaps key users) it may mean that to avoid CreditNew, something of a project based 'code freeze' regarding the server components might become an increasingly necessary tactic.

Folks over at Aqua encountered a MAJOR credit mess when they deployed current server components. As a result, they had to roll back all credits to June 19. (if you look at stats sites you can see the mega-credit bubble). The thing is, for Aqua, they have decided for various reasons to live with the CreditNew system. The downside for them is that latest iterations of that system still don't work properly for Aqua (and I suspect a large number of projects) -- as a result, Aqua has offered no new credited work for a month now.
