one of my hosts has suddenly been getting nothing but client errors for the past day or so. is there something bust@einstein? everything seems fine at my end.... i was running boinc 5.10.21. i'm reverting to 5.10.20 to see if that fixes anything, but now i'm up against the "daily quota of 48 results" limit, so i can't tell. :-(

new batch of client errors?

I don't think going back a version of BOINC will help.

app_version download error: couldn't get input files:

einstein_S5R3_4.13_windows_intelx86.exe
-224
file not found

einstein_S5R3_4.13_windows_intelx86.pdb
-224
file not found

error -224 means as much as an HTTP 404 error: File not found.
So it's something on the Einstein server, something that's missing.

I've just installed the

I've just installed the 5.10.21 version of BOINC on my Linux box. So far so good, but boincprog does not seem to work any longer. Caveat emptor!

But it's there...

Strange. Maybe a network problem at the client's side?

I had some download

I had some download delays/retrys this morning - data files, not exes - and looked at the server status page to find that my local UK mirror site (Glasgow) had failed: it's down again now.

d4rkm47r's profile says he is in the United States: I wonder if his download could have been affected by the Penn State LSC group mirror failure 24 hours 38 minutes ago?
