Hello,
Somehow I signed up for an account on Einstein@Home under 2 different email addresses. Not realizing it at first, I began crunching data under one of them, but after recently looking at all of my BOINC stats, I realized that the Einstein account used an email address different than all my other accounts.
When I tried to switch it to the email address that I use in my other BOINC accounts, in my preferences, it said that the email address already existed.
I searched through emails sent to the email address I'd like to use, and found the email from E@Home w/ its account key.
I'd like to merge the two accounts, with the stats from the account I'm cruching now put into the account that I haven't started using, yet.
Is this possible? Thanks for the help...
Sincerely,
david

Hello David,
I don't think that it's possible. Perhaps the admins can delete one.
So the best workaround seems to me:
Change the email in the not used account to something useless.
Change the email in the used account to the good adress.
Update manually on a computer with at least one of the other projects to get the CPID syncronized.
Write a mail to the admins, to delete or cancel your ghost-account.
As long as you do not crunch anything on the ghost-account, it should not appear anywhere.

Thanks for the workaround. :)
I'll see if it works...

It seems to have done the trick: All my BOINC efforts are grouped under one email address, finally. Thanks for the tip.
Is there anyone in particular I should ask about having the unused account deleted?

Simplest is just to leave it: it won't do any harm!
