    I have not been able to get Boinc to work, for Einstein at home. Can you help?

      Well, you've had some success! I gather you are meaning those four work units on 9th December which gave the error - exit code -1073741502 (0xc0000142)?

        There was a severe error in the processing this Result and we had a "death" type ending to the Science Application.

        So I'd hazard a guess to say that something real bad happened to Windows that day, but it got better as you have succeeded since? Something new?

          Thanks Mike, I just figured out how this works after typing and sending the following just a minute ago, "Is this where we can get help? I sent a posting 12 days ago, saying I have a problem getting Boink to work for me. Or, am I tooo computer illiterate to get anything out of this Message Board even? " I have never used a Message Board before. I will read all of this stuff now and learn from it. Sorry for my ignorance. Sincerely, Mr. Lynn
