One of our team members ended up with separate accounts for his 2 machines. How do we combine this into one account without deleting one of the credits already accumulated.

My name is Conan and I am a member of the team Cobar Spiders. Cobar Spiders was founded by my brother Spider (his Boinc name).
When his computer crashed and he had to reformat the machine he lost all his details on his set up. He assumed that as he had lost all his data then so to did Boinc and created another account instead of reattaching to his existing one. It is possible that he used a different e-mail address as he has 2, I am not sure if he did. He appears twice in the team totals as 2 different team members and also shows that his computer, an AMD 2400+, appears twice, one active and one not (he only has the one).
Team = Cobar Spiders
Founder = Spider
Team members should be 3, Spider, Conan and K1966.
Country = Australia
Is it now possible to have this problem resolved by merging the 2 Spider's into one? It is a bit confusing and would tidy up the membership.

Unlike host accounts, user accounts can't be deleted or merged. If Spider's 'old' account has more credit than the 'new', all I can suggest is that he abandon the latter. If he does so, the team will still have the credit earned by the 'ghost' account, but there's no way to combine the two—unless you can get a project administrator to 'hack' the database.
Also, once he has reported and earned credit for the account he wishes to abandon he can simply remove that 'member' from your team. As mentioned previously, your team will retain the credits and this will tidy up your membership like you wanted.

Currently it is not possible to merge accounts.

Wont matching up of the e-mail addresses get the accounts to sync if all other data matches up, such as name, team and country?
