I cannot believe it. I really cannot. After more then 800.000 seconds of CPU time it was my machine which finished the 3rd result.
Is there anyone with a slower machine and granted credits?

congrats.
What astonishes me, what happened with the timeout?
Looks like the package got credit even after that - may be this is good news to all those running similar computers.
But this methusalix should be replaced some day, I'd say.
Wow, that's quite a long time

Wow, that's quite a long time to crunch on a WU. Wurgl, congratulations on the credit! You must be running that computer almost 24/7...

You will get credit after the timeout, IF and only IF credits have not yet been awarded.
I recently sent in a result 2 hours or so late and I didn't get credits because I was the 4th to return a result.
So Wurgl got lucky, with so many other machines not returning results for that WU.

Congrats.
It would probably be better to dedicate this particular machine to a project with a longer deadline and/or smaller WUs. You probably won't get lucky like this too often.
Seti Classic Final Total: 11446 WU.

not for Einstein, at least not now;-)
a test run with a seti WU is on the road,
system used:
pentium 2nd generation 120 MHz with 48 MB of ram (a laptop)
25 Hours are passed and it's at 40%
38 Hours left.
the total time is estimated for 64 Hours.
97 whet and 138 dhry are the benchmarks results
It looks like it's doing the job..
I will try with Einstein when it's finished.
the guess is, the p120 could do 1 Einstein WU in 1 week.. in theory.
About 50 in a year.
Normaly for 50 Einstein WUs, the farm need a few hours...
so slower yes, granted? we will see;-)

Interesting! 87 whet and 241 dhry.
I always knew that in these days AMD had a poor floating point performance. But I did not realize that it was so bad!
Originally the board was delivered with some Pentium at 200 MHz. Maybe I put that one back in?
yes sorry i have a slow
