Hi

I get an message from server deferring comunication with project for 1 day 1 houres.(i know why it comes)
Why do i get this message every hour the sheduler should only wait its time.

Mike,

The scheduler sends this message when your computer contacts the scheduler. An hour later, if left to its own, your computer will make another attempt and may get another message ... over time, the interval should increase until you get a successful transfer.

Look in the Glossary for "Exponential Back-off" and scheduler.

The string of messages an hour apart for a long deferral are merely informational (nothing happens except that the message is posted to the log).

Thanks for your reply.

Perhaps i have to live with it, since i have a to big cache setting because the short deadline at einstein.
But i´m happy that the einstein server will not sending work when the machine isn´t able to finnish it right away, because i had to abort some wu´s at the first try.
I was first shocked when i looked at message tab, all was running fine but only red messages from einstein.
