Cheers, Mike.

Kind of like those two people that just came back to the US that have Ebola, take the never before tested drug or die! If it were me I too would have have said YES I am now a guinea pig!!! I think most people would given the ultimate choice, not all of course, but most.

Or just grab a beer and sit back to watch the show, because your soul is safe in the hands of Obamascare...

The scary part of Obamacare may be the effort to undo it if/when a Republican becomes President! If they don't do it in a reasonable way, is politics ever reasonable, then it could be just as big a mess to unwind this system! NO WAY do I like Obamacare, but some people do have insurance now that didn't before, and to dump them back on the street could be worse. There are TONS of problems with Obamacare, taxpayer funding is just one of them, the IRS being in charge of it is another, but the unwinding of it could be just as problematic, IMHO.

I agree Mikey. While I personally don't like what I call ObamaScare, getting out of it would have to be done in an organized way, not just cancel it. It's like trying to leave a war zone. You just don't turn your back and walk away. That's how you get flattened.

Cool picture!

Couple days ago I thought about starting a thread for home astronomers to post pictures they've taken. A telescope is on my list of wants when I go back to work. This is a very cool hobby. Should have done this years ago.

Edit: A friend of mine still has one of those old 12 ft satellite dishes in his back yard. He keeps bugging me about bringing it to my house. It can be used for EME (Earth-Moon-Earth, i.e. Moonbounce) for Ham Radio. Not to mention maybe some sky searching of my own just for grins and giggles to see if I can pick up anything.

Good Morning ! A couple of

Good Morning !
A couple of Ham Operators in 1969 "Directly" picked up and recorded signals from the Apollo Astronauts walking around on the Moon. This would be the low powered VHF transmissions from their space suits. To accomplish this, they used a Large High gain "Horn" type antenna. They had to manually turn the antenna to keep it lined up on the Moon. They picked them up for about 20 minutes and recorded it !
While arguing with a friend ( who is of the opinion that we never went to the Moon and it was all somehow faked. ) I brought this story up. Didn't faze her one bit ! - she is not easily convinced or deterred by Facts !

Dang it! I forgot that the secret of the big hoax was out. Grr!

Note to self. Never let facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory. Pesky little things, facts are.

I need to find a way to sneak that little green man in my closet out of town. Maybe a nice cottage in the Ozarks...
