Should be good. Are you going? If so, let us know how it was!! :-)

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

I'm planning on it Mike. I

I'm planning on it Mike.

I can't wait. I really enjoyed her last book (even if I didn't understand most of it).

The world needs more Lisa Randalls, that is good science communicators from the leading/bleeding edge. Her stuff is difficult, because the topic is.
I too had trouble, particularly with the Higgs boson thing - but if one re-reads often enough it may click. Well, that's my strategy .... :-)

Cheers, Mike.

It's one book I think I'm

It's one book I think I'm going to buy. I checked it out of the library a few months ago. But someone else wanted it so I wasn't able to renew it (how rude, LOL).

It would have helped if I had written it on the correct month on the calender. So I missed it.

I saw Lisa Randall at the Hayden Planetarium in NYC last year, and she was fantastic! Brilliant, but down to earth at the same time. And from a male perspective, she happens to be quite attractive! She presented her material well, and answered questions following her lecture.

She had a book signing afterward, and she signed my book I had brought with me, so that was nice.

Well I'd be on the wrong continent ( amongst other reasons ) to take any male perspectives ..... :-)

.... however I figured if she speaks publicly as good as she writes then she'd be a very good lecturer for the general public. On such a conceptually difficult topic too.

Cheers, Mike.
