Hi,
I am trying to determine if the Linux drivers for the latest generation of AMD cards are working yet? My understanding is the OCL stuff was buggy so you couldn't get reliable results from the calculations.
I see many Radeon VII cards but they are all running under Windows (and the drivers had been announced as "fixed" to a considerable extent) rather than Linux which is where my main crunching systems run.
Any good news?

Don't bother looking at the Radeon VII for validation of working drivers. the Radeon VII was never affected by the driver issue that the RX5700 had. The issue was with the new Navi based cards. Radeon VII is Vega based.

Yeah, my Navi card seems to be working fine. New Linux drivers came out recently, version 20.10. I don't actually know if there was a problem on Linux with 19.x & this hardware, but, on Windows, the fix came out with 20.x and so I assume 20.10 has those fixes, too.

According to this thread the Linux OCL drivers for Navi 10 have been fixed. The last message includes a link to a Navi 10 Linux box that is not throwing errors.
