Task LATeah1068F_888.0_3576_-2.1e-11_0 of application "Gamma-ray pulsar search #5 1.08 (FGRPSSE)" finished without reporting results. I am trying resetting the Einstein@Home Project.

Hi James,
There is insufficient information to give you a sensible answer.
You have a total of 776 tasks listed on the website of which 591 are listed as "in progress". If you have an example of a task that is "finished without reporting" then it will probably be one of those 591. It would take you just a moment to provide a link to the specific task in question whereas it would take a very long time for anyone else who had to browse through the full list and trying to identify the specific and rather complex full task name you have listed.
Also, you don't mention whether or not the task was uploaded and therefore had a status of "Ready to report" or whether it was having a problem with the actual upload itself. In either case (stuck in upload or alternatively ready to report) resetting the project will cause you to lose the work done on that task so you really should let BOINC automatically handle the situation rather than taking such drastic action.
It can easily happen that there might be a transient network issue that could last just a few minutes or perhaps rather longer so it is best to let BOINC sort this out. BOINC is designed to properly cope with transient network issues.
Perhaps you'd like to explain the problem more fully and for how long the issue has been going on? Is it only one task or are there multiple tasks showing the same problem? If the task is "Ready to report", have you tried selecting the Einstein project and clicking the 'Update' button? What messages do you see in the BOINC event log?
EDIT: I spent some time trying to find the task name (the one you listed above) in your full tasks list. That name doesn't seem to exist?? Even if you have already reset the project, the same tasks (and all associated data files and applications) would have been removed initially and then sent back to you as part of the reset. It really should be there but I can't find it. Was it by any chance a really old task that has been hanging around for a very long time - so long that it has now been completed by somebody else and removed from the online database?? In that case it wouldn't be surprising that isn't listed any more.
You only seem to have just the one computer listed. If it was a recent task all I can think of is that perhaps you have a 2nd computer with that task under a different account (not the one you're using to post your message) or something like that?? If you can still see the task on the website, please provide a link.
