My preferences request jobs to be approximately 4 hours in length. The current size of jobs is 12 hours +. Why is the preference provided if it is not going to followed?

I think, it´s Rosetta, where you can choose the length of the jobs and not Einstein. Mixed it up?
Rosetta allows variable work unit length. That does NOT transfer to other projects.
