What to do?
I my self have quite a few invalid results with the optimized apps.
And by reading the message boards, it's not an ucommon thing.
But what can be done about it?
As far as I can remeber have read, Akosf said that the invalid results from the optimized apps actually could be because they are more accurate than the official app.
Should E@H change the validation criteria or does Akosf have to change the accuracy of his brilliant apps?
I think it's about time to get a discussion about this. And perhaps a few comments from people with their hands in the project.

Some versions use more accurate algorithms, but some versions don't.

Okay...
Do you have any idea which versions have the least problems? Is it depended on the system it's crunched at?

Probably the original version has the least problems, because this is the most popular.
