Dearest crunchers...
Alas a dear friend and colleague of mine has recently died unexpectedly, and will be sorely missed. You may have noticed my absence....
This has placed an extreme onus on my time as a country doctor, and has resulted in my spare time evaporating!
So something has to give, and alas it will be ( for the foreseeable future ) my lovable and enjoyable hobbies, like moderating tasks here at E@H. Darn!
So I will return, and of course my small farm will continue to crunch onwards and upwards, but I must for the time being stand aside.
So .... be nice and be good to one another while I'm out!! :-)

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend and colleague.
Was already missing you here, and am now very much looking forward to your eventual return. Hopefully you'll be back in time for when the first waves are bagged.
Whether you were responding to my questions or those of others, I always found your posts helpful, insightful, and cheerful, and I'll always be grateful! You set a very good example and I try hard to follow it (although sometimes I think I can derail even a thread that has no tracks).
