I have a Work PC, Laptop (that I call School), and a Home (Desktop machine). I have just resurrected my WIN2KPro machine and I am Downloading the latest BOINC to install. You only supply users 3 Profile names: Work, Home, and School. I would like a 4th Profile for my User ID. Is this possible?

Possibly, theres an implied fourth profile with "default". Thats the "---" for location.

What are you doing that needs separate profiles?

I'm not doing anything special. I just saw that you made available in each User ID 3 different PC Profiles. I loaded BOINC/Einstein on 3 WINXP machines and now just loaded it on a WIN2KPro machine. The 3 XP machines display the Einstein Screen Saver but the WIN2KPro machine only displays the BOINC screen saver.

I've have enrolled in the Einstein Project but the screen saver just never displays. I just thought that maybe I was doing something incorrectly or maybe I needed an additional profile to update against for this 4th machine of mine.

Perhaps it's your video card driver. This post has some links to check for updated drivers.
