Just a small thought. So is E@H heading the same way as SETI? Or is it just that SETI is down and the big machines are here? I seem to remember SETI had this problem and then problems forever after. Still today
Well, related or unrelated, we are seeing performance problems in our replica database since the power outage, e.g. the server status page is refreshing way slower than it used to do. We are investigating this at the moment, and I would not be surprised to find out that the pending credit page is also affected by this. Anyway bear with us, we hope to resolve this soon.
But download speed is OK. 2 BRP4ATI & 2 BRP4CUDA , 4 WUs @ 450KBit/s each.
And quite alot of them, just checked the ATI and NVs GTX470 hosts, the
ATI has only BRP4ATI work and the latter has also Gravitional Search work.
Hey i like your avatar seems like you have some kitties too.
Yup, I'm a great kitty fan. The critters in the avatar are a male and a female, both from the same litter, but with extremely different personalities (bold/shy). These days they are intercepting snow flakes in mid-air and chasing remote controlled cars :-). So cute.
Ahhhh well...back to topic :-)
Download speeds: Yes, download is completely unrelated to the database and works just fine. Upload as well. Scheduler, validator, etc are database related but work with the main database, not the replica. So the impact of any replica-slowness is fairly limited, mostly "reporting" and "statistics" kind of of stuff.

Pendings are working OK here, ATM.
And, if you didn't know it, my nickname at Seti is the kittyman.
I didn't bother to add it in my sig here, but here is my avatar at Seti...
This is an original photo I took of my 4 kitties many years ago.
It just seemed like a natural avatar, as they are my guiding lights.
Pendings still not working here, if will be interesting if Mark could post when it will stop to work in his side, so that could give a range where the problem start to apears and help in the fix.
But don´t worry we could wait the fix, the ideia was just to report the problem.

But that happens ALL the time... so i belive you are the one who don´t follow or understand what i said ;-)
I realy belive the Richard explanation are more acurate:

Some kind for limit could be on place...
Now that the SETI message

Now that the SETI message boards are back, you can read the discussion we had there last time: Wondering when my pending credit page will fail.......
Somewhere north of 6,000 tasks pending, seems to be the consensus.
Just a small thought. So is

It may or not be 'fixed'....
It never was on Seti.
Just a limit in Boinc.
Working now....
