Hi,
I'm having trouble reporting completed S6 tasks (see log below). One error messages says "HTTP internal server error" the other says "Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.' OK, but when I check server status all the S6 servers show green.
If there really is trouble with the servers I'll just wait, but if there is anything I can do at this end ... .
Tx

HTTP internal server error

Do you have firewall? Try to disable it and try again.

I see this from time to time,

I see this from time to time, seemingly randomly and not very often, its strange as it may only affect one host out of several on the same network.

A manual update usually resolves the problem (whatever that may be), failing that, simply re-boot the machine that is causing the trouble and try again. More often than not the issue resolves itself.

Thanks for your responses. I

Thanks for your responses. I did try manual reporting, rebooting and disabling Avast. I even upgraded to the latest BOINC. Nada. I finally uninstalled some internet management software from the motherboard maker (Asrock). THAT was the problem.
Thanks again.

The real 'problem' is

The real 'problem' is probably related to overloaded servers. The message comes up from time to time when the particular server you are talking to at the time just happens to be snowed under with requests. BOINC is quite capable of handling this so you really don't need to worry too much about it. It's a bit of a classic case of being killed by your own success :-).

I think there's a fair bit going on behind the scenes to try to cope with this.

Cheers,
Gary.
