I'm getting http errors when attempting uploads of results.

At first it was only happening on one computer so I just decided to 'wait and see'. Now it's occurring on 3.

All 3 appear to be communicating fine with all other projects.

I'll provide more details if necessary

You should try an Advanced search (see on top of this page) for the keyword http_error and search limits of at least three months. The error doesn't seem to have occurred in the last 30 days :-)

Not sure if it really is

Message 86937 in response to message 86936

Not sure if it really is something down as I have had trouble reaching several sites in the USA all day long. I know they're up, I just can't reach them. Then wait a couple of minutes and they load without problems. So perhaps that some node is out somewhere on the wonderful interweb.

Hi! I think this message

Hi!

I think this message about the server not being able to parse a config file is rather suspicious, indeed pointing to an E@H problem.

Hi, I have the same

Hi,

I have the same problem; from the previous posts I suspected a problem with my firewall (Sygate, the last freeware version).

The security log told me something about Boincmanager trying to hijack Boinc trying to hijack the Einstein-exe. It blocked access to the E@H-IP. I couldn't get rid of that warning and blocking, so I reinstalled the firewall. Now, communication is possible, no hijacking-warning but the boinc-error [27.10.2008 20:49:54|Einstein@Home|Temporarily failed upload of h1_0966.50_S5R4__774_S5R4a_4_0: HTTP error] is persisting.

However, another error, [message from server: Server can't parse configuration file] is gone.

Still can't upload, though.

I presume, it'd be quite a coincidence if so many firewalls were to be on a strike?!

It obviously has nothing to do with , I checked both posibilities. So much for the forum search :-(

Gundolf

[edit] I even did reboot, so DNS buffers should be flushed. [/edit]
