I have twoe machines which are running explicitly the test application. As I have seen, the difference is the file
projects/einstein.phys.uwm.edu/app_info.xml
How can I safe switch to the normal distributed client?
Just remove that file, or is there a better way?

The _safest_ way is to hit "no new work" for Einstein, let it run out of work, then delete the app_info.xml file and "allow new work".
It will download the standard application automatically, along with the next result.
