Sorry for necroing, but I barely have found this thread searching the Internet. Since this option is nowhere to be found in GUI (and I bet we all love numbers and statistics), I will duplicate the info from the wiki page:
Boinc by default saves statistics for 30 days, you can increase this number now. Don't forget reload the config. Keep in mind that the statistics may be used against you as evidence or something :)

Search for: <save_stats_days>%NUMBER%</save_stats_days>
