Hi, guys,

I think I have a cheater in my team. I'm not so advanced user and I would ask you a few questions, before kick him out of the team.
1st of all, is cheating possible here at Einstein@Home?
2nd, most of you know, that Einstein gives exact credit for at least a 45 days ago - no matter of claimed credit, we receive 880, or 80 per WPU, or so. Am I correct?
3rd, what will do you think, if a user gets 4000, a few days after - 13000, then 5000, 10000 credits, then another 3333 (yes, exactly)?

I'll wait for your opinion and possible contact to administrator, who can check the user.

Thanks!

I would say, 3333 credis are not a problem here.

This is one of my pc's, I promise, I'm not cheating!

Edit: The other values are unusual here.

Lol, obviously I'm too

Lol, obviously I'm too suspicious. I see also another results, which make plausible these round results (5000, 3000 etc.)

Thanks, Alex! Learned something new!

This is normal operation. E@H

This is normal operation. E@H and most other BOINC projects send out the same workunit to two or more different users. Only when all results are sent back and they match, credit is granted.
So as it happens, sometimes you get more credit at once, sometimes less.
E@H also has some big workunits (BRP4 GPU) that are worth 3333 credits.
