How to check if STEAM is working?

    How do i know if the STEAM Processor is running or not?
    I am usng ATI 7850. While running the application, i noticed that the GPU temperature is still under 40'C. Any setting is required?
    I have checked the "Use GPU Always" from the Activity Tab.

      Hi!

      We support ATI/AMD GPU with an OpenCL app. OpenCL support was added only recently to BOINC, and we currently require BOINC version 7.0.27 or higher. This is the most likely reason that you might not get AMD GPU tasks at the moment.

      The latest Boinc release considered stable (at the time of writing this) is 7.0.25. The latest testing/developer version is 7.0.28 which has quite stable OpenCL support but might be unstable in other respects.
