    I think this has been mentioned before. There seems to be a problem registering hosts. That user has hundreds of bogus entries.

    These bogus hosts then time out with 'no reply' when they are assigned work units.

      The user and I are both aware of this case. I'll delete these phantom hosts when their workunits complete. Longer term I'll add something to BOINC so that users have to click on a web page button to increase the number of hosts by another (say) 100.
