Hitting quota ceiling without error

Since about december 26, my box hits the daily quota of 8 work units after about 12 hours of computations, and then sits idle the remaining 12 hours because no more work is sent.
Work units used to take about 22000 seconds, but now take only 5000. Client status is "success".
Has work units become easier? Did my box give up halfway thru the workunit without reporting an error?

I can see now that the quota for Albert units is raised to 16 per day.
Better, but still not enough for the fastest machines.
