Hmpf...
If you check my Hosts, you will see them listed only as "Authentic AMD" without the CPU Model and Extensions on all my Fedora Core 6 Systems.
Any other FC6 Users that may have any insights as to why I can't fix this strange behaviour?
(tried all I could think of, including updating it to latest 2.6.20 Kernel with 'yum update')
If that continues, my entire Computer List will be 'sanitized' unintentionally.

Hello FalconFly, I also have a system with Fedora Core 6 as well as two with FC3. It is not the Linux programme problem.
I am running 5.8.11 and it lists all the information you require except the Stepping information which is to be used for Homogenous Redundacy.
They tried to fix this in versions up to 5.8.17 (I think) but instead of getting the correct information for a Linux machine it now just gives the manufacturer (Intel or AMD) and nothing else.
This is supposed to be fixed in the next official stable release 5.8.18+ (or what ever it will be).
So not a Linux problem at all but a BOINC Client problem.

Okidok, so I'll just wait for the next Stable Release Version and hope they fixed it :)
