For some and for the rest of us many will experience a Tah Taaaah day. July 29 the day win 10 takes a bow.
Which of you will be first to share their Tah Taaah experience? I am holding off until....
I have been running the release version for over a week and other than some driver problems with my Nvidia gpu shutting off, seems MS overwrites the Nvidia drivers with their own ones that are not quite compatible, it is working just fine. A reboot seems to fix the driver problems until MS tries to update them again. I am running it on a Boinc only machine so it's not like I do alot with it, but it is a good cruncher with no slowdowns. I am running it on an AMD 6300 6 core cpu with 8gb of ram. I am crunching both cpu and gpu units with no problems except the driver kicking the gpu offline occasionally.
Reports are MS is relenting on drivers being included in the mandatory auto updates, if so it will work just fine for me.
