This afternoon I walked into the office next door to make some last-moment preparations before Sylvia and Avneet leave for Pasadena. We will be attending a LIGO-Virgo meeting there next week and will be presenting updates on our analyses. We are trying to finish up a number of projects so that we can concentrate on the new data, and there's a lot of parallel-work going on at the same time... so here's photo I took of them, with their different search-analysts hats on ! Aren't they cute ? I am so proud of them and of the rest of the team. I will be posting more photos in the future so that you can get to know them better !

They are cute and worthy of pride indeed, looking quite keen and motivated. I see their hats have plenty of room : to keep all that Fast Fourier Transform stuff in !
