Hallo!

The science run O4 has started at 24th May at LIGO and KAGRA. VIRGO will come along within the next month. The sensitivity has been increased by about 30%.

And LIGO India will hopefully be ready for science at the end of this century, which will better the pointing accuracy towards the GW-source by a factor of about ten.

Kind regards and happy crunching

After reading the LIGO India article that you posted, I'm not quite certain where you get "ready for science at the end of this century".

Care to elaborate?

Hello GWGEORGE007 ! Please

Hello GWGEORGE007 !

Please see at the end of the first paragraph: "The Indian government will spend about $320 million to build LIGO-India, with first observations expected by the end of the decade."

I hope, they will hold this date!

Kind regards and happy crunching

Martin
