LOL!!! No I'm not I think my cache is just long enough that I don't run out as quickly as you guys running multiple tasks and shorter caches do, yes I'm getting the 'no tasks sent' messages now but I still have over 1900 in progress spread across all my pc's

OK.  It was hoped that gpr#1 tasks would start seeing an uptick in availability "after" the end of October.

Its November 1st.

Anyone seeing an uptick?

Tom M

I have recorded the number of GPR#1 pending tasks in my queues over the past five days:

10/28: 9889 tasks; 10/29: 9987 tasks; 10/30: 10058 tasks; 10/31: 9654 tasks; 11/01: 9116 tasks

So, the uptick reported by Ian&Steve C. has not impacted my total number of pending tasks.  However, as predicted by Ian&SteveC., my fastest cruncher (max capacity of ~ 3M credits/day) is now getting enough tasks to work at maximum capacity.

Many thanks to Ian&Steve C. for his analysis of GPR#1 task availability.  Let's hope the trend continues!

what's the rationale for tracking pendings? pendings are tasks completed, returned, and waiting for validation. A decrease in pendings means more wingmen are validating your work, which is generally a good thing. There can be a lot of variables influencing the pendings so unless all validation stops and the pending tasks start to increase a LOT, I wouldn't worry about them too much. do you mean to track your "In Progress" numbers? That's more relevant to the issue at hand.

Hi Ian& Steve C.  You are so correct, I meant to say "in progress" tasks rather than "pending" tasks.  And now, my in progress tasks have gone back up to 9265.  I apologize for the mistake.

Did you set allow other tasks if the FGRP#1 tasks aren't available or set BRP7 tasks as an also get these tasks? Because my cache of FGRP#1 in progress tasks went up to just short of 2k for me overnight so they do have some to send out

As of today, right now, I have 3 - completed Valid tasks, 2 - Pending, and 9 - In Progress;  14 in all of FGRP#1.

I also have plenty of BRP7 tasks, so we'll see what transpires in the days to come.
