Recently I've been getting WUs which say "1 CPU + 1 AMD/ATI GPU". These use about 60% of a CPU core, and the GPU about 20% of the time. This is not very effective use of the GPU. Please fix.

It's been fixed some time ago. The application is in development and your host is still running only v1.15 tasks which are old farts by now. Cancel them and download new tasks.
Thanks.

Your computer crunched one of those v1.17 tasks successfully. While the computer was crunching the other v1.17 tasks was the 'running time' ticking for them but no progress after several minutes? How have you set the computing settings? Could it be that your boinc stops crunching constantly because there is other activity on that computer?

It's set to run all the time, whether in use or not. The task I saw had been going for many hours (I think about 14) and was almost finished, but the CPU usage and GPU usage were both 0%.
I've just grabbed another lot, and the first one is using 60% of one CPU core, and 40% of the GPU. It's done 10% in 2 minutes, 36% in 7 minutes. Not really full use of my GPU, but it'll do.
I wonder if the one I saw sitting after 14 hours had crashed?

Ok nevermind. Found the problem. I use a driver from 08/16. After updating to newest driver from 09/16 now the gpu's are in usage.
