When I am feeling down, hopeless, or weak, I remember all of the people who pray for me, or who support me or wish me well, and I feel ashamed that I might have been so weak as to momentarily relinquish hope, when so many others have not, and I am sustained, my hope and faith restored anew.
Do NOT feel ashamed at having moments or periods of weakness or despair. It is a normal part of the process. I, too, have my "oh, poor me" moments. The key is to have enough heartfelt reasons to continue to fight. Friends, family, lifetime goals not yet realized and the like are what I mean.
Keep your chin up, sir. And, by the way, forget the numbers. They're morbidly fascinating and surely a part of the investigative stages of your journey, ie. "Where am I? What is happening to me?", but they'll do nothing to add to your strength and will to fight.
You're in my prayers,
Jim

Jim,
Once again, you add some sage advice, through experience talking. Thanks again.
@Everyone - Before we hijack my friend Mike Hewson's thread any further (my apologies, Mike), you can email me at my sig (way below, sounds like my name) at gmail.com, though I'm not the best at promptly responding, depends on the "weather", or "whether". ;-)
