This can have one of two possible main reasons:

1) The project server is down (retry later) Unlikely.

2) Your internet connection between BOINC and the project server is broken. More likely

For 2), there can be more root causes, in most cases a firewall/web content filter blocking BOINC from "calling home", especially ofter an update of the BOINC software. Wrong proxy-settings could be another.

Try to shutdown/restart BOINC and try to identify firewall problems if the problem persists.

Please let us know if this works, otherwise we will have to do some deeper analysis of your problem here.

Tried stopping and starting

Message 73615 in response to message 73614

Tried stopping and starting BOINC. Still same error message. This is a work related PC and the issue may be firewall related but would be limited in getting anything changed. I do not have any problem with Seti but it looks like Climateprediction.net has the same issue and those look like .zip files it is trying to return. You mentioned proxy settings - something within BOINC I can check/adjust? Let me know.

Thanks - Bill
