failed to attatch to project

    I cant attatch the project..

    I searched the forum and tried several things and it still wont attatch.

    I put the correct URL in the requested field...then selected existing user and put in my e-mail and password...after a minute it just states it failed to attatch project. I even tried going the new user route and that also wont work.

    I tried changing my password.
    Tried turning off my firewall.
    Tried using account key.
    Tried a different password.

    Any suggestions? Thanks

      I'm not sure which CC version you are using, but you may want to try the newest release 5.2.11 (just came out a bit ago today). It is supposed to have some connection updates in it.

        Your computer seems to have downloaded and started on a workunit about 2 hours ago, so ?maybe your attachment succeeded?

          Yes....this is strange...after it reported "failed to attach" I left everything alone and now its working? This is strange. I have no clue what went on here but all seems to be working for now. I hope it stays that way.

            I just reset up my second computer (Athlonmp2400) and I am getting the same problem, and I dont have a wirewall on. It is a clean install I just did. I have no idea why it wont log on. I have had Bionic for a long time, so I didnt have passwords till a few days ago.
            But this computer just will not connect to a project, though I think it sees them.
            I say this cause if I make up an URL, it stops right away, but if I use a real URL, (like http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/) then it continues on, just to fail later.
            Let me know if you have an idea, I have also let it sit for a few days since I read this, but it didnt help.
