My computer is an AMD 64X2 5200 with 2Gb of RAM, running 64bit Ubuntu Server (Hardy Heron - Linux
2.6.24-19-server)
I don't even know where to start with this one.

There is post here of someone else having this error code. In their case it was because the ia32 library was not installed with the 64 bit Ubuntu distribution.
