Hi,

I installed BOINC 4.25, but the graphics didn't work so I installed 4.19, and everything at first seemed to be working, but my first 2 work units have both had the same 'computation error'. The messages says:

Einstein@Home - 2005-04-02 08:21:16 - Unrecoverable error for result H1_0532.4__0532.5_0.1_T20_Test02_1 ( - exit code -1073741819 (0xc0000005))

Then it says that the computation has finished, and uploads it? I'm not sure what is going wrong.

Thank-you,
Yish

sorry, I can not tell what this exit code means.
I had a similar case, when my machine just crached, changed Power Supply, now it's gone.

Looking at your http://einsteinathome.org/account/51098/computers computers, I think, this is just one and you tried it several times.
some did not make to the deadline (#91829, #92658, 92667)
and #92665 had 2 client errors.

what I would do:
collect all those virtual computers to 92665 (since this seems to be the real one): merge them by using the link 'computers in this account' of your einstein-account.

Check CPU-Temperature, powersupply, RAM-timing, 256 MB is low.
Do you overclock? Try, what happens if you do not or reduce it.
You can start with leaving the cover open.

just guessing.

Hi,

I just merged the computers together and that seems to have done the trick :-)

Thanks for your help!
