    Hi,

    I am getting a popup saying: "Error reading setup initialization file"

    Could someone please assist me with this or tell me
    if there is anything I am doing wrong/should be doing?

    I am currenly running version : boinc_4.45_windows_intelx86
    and would like to upgrade to : boinc_5.2.13_windows_intelx86

      Never mind.

      It's seems the problem was only that I didn't download the entire file.

        This is occuring when you try to run the installer package correct?

        Using the package from version 4.45 to uninstall may clear things up. Also try cleaning out temporary files. Using windows update to get the latest version of the windows installer may also help.

        If none of this helps there is a specific knowledge base article about this, hopefully someone will come by with a link to it.
