Just curious...about when do you anticipate E@H will be completed with its testing phase?

Thanks!

We're done testing -- we are now doing production work. Do note that 'all the bugs' are not yet out of BOINC. However our application is running correctly in most cases for most people, and the validator is catching the invalid results from some problematic hosts.

Thanks! And thanks for being involved in the project.

It has been my experience with other distributed computing projects that involvement by senior project people keep contributors happier, resulting in greater and longer participation on a project.

In addition, as a suggestion, regular status reports and/or links to published papers resulting from the distributed computing project work acknowledges and respects the time and effort of your contributors.

Best wishes for a successful project!

Hi Bruce, I have noticed that my WUs are all marked as TEST units. For example, I am currently crunching: (This host)

H1_0344.4__0344.9_0.1_T13_TEST02_3
and
H1_0344.4__0344.7_0.1_T14_TEST02_3

Are these test units or is TEST in this case referring to a type of calculation (processing stage)? ie "test01" runs one set of calcs, test02 runs another set, test03 another set etc etc?

thanks for all your help!
cheers,

Paul.

Explanation is simple. They *were* test units. But test units based on real data. And the test worked! So in spite of the name, we're now using these for a real search.

Cheers,
