Hey guys ive tried to update my account preferences regarding how many processors/core Einstein can use. Ive set the amount to 6 but when i update both the web interface and manually update Bonic (Einstein Project) i still have 8 cores running. Suspending a task only makes another task take its place.
I dont have any problems when my SETI projects runs, only 6 CPU tasks are active.

Using Bonic version 6.10.58

Thanks guys,
Karl.

That's a contradiction of your previous statement, since those preferences are project independent.

Which preference did you use? The correct one for 6.1+ BOINC clients would be "On multiprocessors, use at most 75% of the processors".
