    First of all SETI BOINC is dead in the water and now Protein Predictor is acting the mick.
    I did an update and it said 'No work for my platform' (that's fine) but then it immediatley deferred for 1 day. not a few minutes minutes or 1 hour as normal.

    Have just checked another host and it has done the exact same. Also another person reporting this on the Protein Predictor message boards.

    Anyhoo, after that rant! :)

    If all these projects stop handing out work, Einstein is gonna get hammered with WU requests very quickly. I am wondering now; how long can Einstein keep up with a sudden increase in demand?

      Well, aside from maybe running out of work units, getting lots of work done is always a good thing. Sure, maybe people won't be earning credit, but the project will benefit from the massive amounts of data it gets.
