The firewall used for connection block my access to internet for E@H.

E@H is viewed as a menace because it uses an unusual (too big) http packet length.

I checked in user preferences and settings but found nothing related to this.

Any hints?

E@H and firewalls

What firewall? Can you add BOINC as an exception?

Its a firewall at work, in wich I cannot make any changes.
The problem is not related with outbound address. Its related to the format of data packet exchanged between Boinc client and E@H.

The firewall reports such lenghty packets as a menace, thus blocking them.
It seems that they do not respect some http standards. (don't ask me wich standard!)

What I would like to find is a setting in Boinc that controls packets size. I'm pretty sure that if I somewhat reduce their size, everything will be OK.
