The taks only seem to allocate 1 thread of work which seems to be single threaded ? On a dual machine only 1 CPU get's used, is this adjustable to use the 2nd cpu ?
Yes, go to your account page here.
Click on "General preferences" and there you will see "On multiprocessors, use at most". Place the number of processors you want Boinc to use. :)
