After a long time with frustrating old (and slow) computers I got a new box and installed BOINC/E@H on it. Now the strange situation is, that on all 32 h1-files I see a message "Download failed" in the properties (I use BOINC 6.6.31) whereas the 10 p2030-files arrived fine and the first ones will be finished in a few hours.
In the log file (Computer-ID 1967526)
http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/sched_logs/2009-06-05_17/2009-06-05_17:12.txt
I do not see any helpful text.

And in my local log file (sorry, the clock is not in sync) I do not see anything too

No error can bee seen.
Memory limit ... no, 16GB should be enough.
Disk limit ... no, 500GB should be enough.
So, any ideas?

Download failed on all h1_* files, works with p2030_* files?

The one task that got reported until now (129319282) shows this stderr output:

Looking closer at stdoutdae.txt, I see this one:

Now the command ls -l shows me the correct size.
Is it possible, that boinc tries to start crunching during the download of the executable? This seems to be true for the gnu_0 file, but not for the gnu_0 file.
RE: Is it possible, that

I think I can remember having read about something like this (sometimes BOINC failing to wait until download is complete).
One could try to download the files manually:

time is eastern so 3:59pm GMT (if i did the math right)
im guessing it has to do with the server load right now after such a prolonged downtime. so for now im not worried.
