    I have just had to install SP2, otherwise certain applications I bought will not install at all.
    Since then, every time the screensaver loads up, it will not resume back to the desktop.

    Is there a setting somewhere that I need to adjust, or will the Einstein@home not work under SP2?

    Please advise - this is infuriating!

      It works for me with XPsp2. ATI is reported to have some bad drivers out, if you are using one of their cards that is the most likely culprit.
