Disturbed by the too much faults occurring?!?

I'm a bit amazed (and pissed off) by too much errors occurring on my AMD/ATI host?!?

What can be the reason?
I've given Einstein 'permission' to send me CUDA/OpenCL BRP4ATI/CUDA work, cause this works fast
, if no errors occur, at GPU work.

Also INcreased work share in favor of Einstein
instead of other projects like SETI, which appears to
be killed by their own success, resulting in too
many hosts, while they have almost NO work and are more down then up-time and be active, as is necessary!

They really should limit or deny people who make a mess of this situation and just throw them out!!!

If SETI gets no funding, it'll be quickly
over for SETI, accept no one dares to say so.

They should have their own TELESCOPE time!
(I appologize for my 'language'), but I think is necessary, whitout this, SETI is doomed to vanish or
killed by the lack of proper funding from the scientific community!!!

There appears to be no confidence in Artificial
Intelligence
in our Milkyway and 'we' can NOT look further (back in time), while the scientific community, as I understand right, isn't going to fund a doomed project.

I don't know why SETI doesn't make it their bussiness
to get AstroPulse, UP and running, inspite others who are primary interested in CREDITS??
And if people don't want to do AstroPulse work, well send them to me.....
and throw them out!!!

I set no tasks for SETI, if they are'nt making clear or explain, why it has become such a mess.

Well anyone knows, curiosity killed the 'cat' and
that's exactly the problem SETI faces, for some (10)years now. A CONTINEUD DDOS 'ATTACK' on their SERVERS, unless they get a 1 or 10 GBIT connection, this project is doomed, IMHO!!!

Just 1 step away from doing only Einstein,
since this project is properly funded and also delivers important results. I.e. PULSARS etc. (Maybe also Quasars; Magnetars, etc.)
Still hope they also find Gravitationel Waves
or the discovery of "BlackHoles" (which can create gravitationel waves if these implode, explode, etc..

Just had to say this...............with no intention to hurt anyones feelings towards SETI, I feel just as bad about this..................

Disturbed by the too much faults occurring?!?

To get this right : the host 5719260 with

Quote:
[2] CAL ATI Radeon HD 5800 series (Cypress) (1024MB) driver: 1.4.1720

has many Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) v1.32 (opencl-ati) units that have completed without error but fail validation back at the server, since about 19/11/2012 ??

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal

Is this Validator and Server(S), related?
This is indeed my I7-2600+ 2 AMD/ATI GPUs.
Again my appologies about my writing, which has nothiong todo with Einstein.
Validation errors are always a known problem and I don't hold Einstein
responsible for this.

It has 100% todo with SETI, with far to many hosts, people not checking their results and the continued strugle about bandwidth.
(And the fact, they're UNreachable, at the moment, I appologize again posting this on Einsteins forums!).

I'll post in a more scientific way, again appologies for this rant.

I will not engage in a heated

I will not engage in a heated discussion about what SETI@home is doing RIGHT and with how little, nor defend the science regardless of how it gets its data. Seriously whether the data is their own or shared with thousands of projects does not really matter.

But this is not the place for it. I will continue to support it as long as the scientists at the project believe there is a CHANCE of success.

Yes, there's too much variance in the WU results coming back from that host to satisfy our validator.

As for the rest : I suggest SETI is the place for that, whenever available.

Cheers, Mike.

You are absolutly right Mike, this is not 'the place' for other projects
failiars.
Again my appologies for this writing, but glad you pointed this out and will not use Einstein again with SETI trouble and I'll continue on Einstein, as I
planned todo.

You are right, this 'heated discussion', shouldn't take place on
Einsteins forums, personal and family-related troubles also played a part
in this 'discussion'.
I already feal ashamed, about my 'language' and has nothing todo with Einstein,
whatsoever, again sorry, better think twice about this kind of 'posting'.
